SE Minnesota Ethanol Producer Elected Officer of National Group
October 01, 2010
(October 1, 2010) Claremont – Randall J. Doyal, CEO of Al-Corn Clean Fuel in Claremont, MN, has been elected Treasurer of the Renewable Fuels Association, the oldest and largest national trade association for American ethanol producers.
“America’s ethanol industry is at a crossroads facing challenges as well as opportunities,” Doyal said. “We must expand the market for ethanol use, increase the number of vehicles that can use ethanol, and promote sound public policies that ensure domestic ethanol production continues to create jobs and reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil. I am proud to be part of the RFA, working with my fellow ethanol producers to achieve these goals.”
Doyal has served on the Board of Directors of the RFA for 14 years, and has been in ethanol production since the early 1980s. He was elected to a one-year term at the RFA’s annual membership meeting in Washington, DC this week.
