Local Ethanol Producer Re-elected Vice Chairman of National Group

(October 6, 2011) Washington – The Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) is pleased to announce that Neill McKinstray, Vice President and General Manager, Ethanol Division of The Andersons, Inc., has been re-elected RFA Vice Chairman. The Andersons, Inc., manages three ethanol facilities in Albion, Michigan, Clymers, Indiana, and Greenville, Ohio.

“Because of the people in communities like Albion, Clymers, and Greenville, America is leading the world in developing game-changing renewable fuel technologies,” said McKinstray. “Already today, ethanol is replacing ten percent of America’s gasoline supply, creating jobs in small communities across the nation, and adding value to the crops of local farmers.  American ethanol production is just beginning to scratch the surface of its potential and I am honored to help lead the RFA in guiding this industry into the future.”

McKinstray has served on the Board of Directors of the RFA for 5 years.  He was elected to a one-year term as Vice-Chairman at the RFA’s annual membership meeting this week in Washington, DC.
